Writing Clubs Summer 2024 – Centre for Literacy

Writing can be tough, but we’re making it FUN! Learn to create interesting characters, write realistic dialogue, make it funny, journal, blog and add photos with captivating captions. These are some of the areas that will be explored – and there’s no grading!

It’s all for the love of writing.

Grades 5-7, Starts July 15 for Five Weeks – Online

Mondays and Wednesdays at Noon-1

On vacation for any part of the five weeks? No worries! On the go activities will be outlined for travelers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made by email to [email protected]. Cancellations made at least seven days before the start of the program will receive a maximum refund (program cost less a 20% administrative fee). Cancellations made less than seven days prior to the start of the program and prior to the start of the program will be refunded 50% of the full program fee. Cancellations after the start date of a program will be refunded for medical or family emergencies only. Refunds will be prorated at the time of the request and administrative costs (20% of the cost of the program) will be subtracted from the refund amount. Should the Centre for Literacy cancel a program due to insufficient enrolment, a full refund will be administered. Please allow three weeks for processing refunds. Refunds may be issued in the form of e-transfer and/or credit to existing accounts, if available.
