This session will provide insight into the neurodevelopmental basis of learning disabilities, the different types of LDs, terminology, the criteria used to diagnosis LDs, and frequent co-existing conditions.
This session is designed as a core class for Centre for Literacy Teachers, along with teachers, education assistants and other professionals in the community. The purpose of this session is to highlight new and emerging research and its implications for intervention.
