Strategies for Teaching Writing – Summer Workshop-Day 1

This workshop is designed for teachers and others who support students with writing. Its goals are to provide participants with practical strategies for use in either classroom or one to one teaching environments to:

• Engender enthusiasm about writing
• Engage the most reluctant writer
• Enable students to write with confidence, finding their own writing style and voice

Participants will be provided with comprehensive course material.

This workshop will be held daily from 9:00 am to Noon, Monday to Friday, August 20‐24th.

The fee for this course is $350. Registration can be taken over the phone. A 5% reduction is available for participants who register and pay a the same time.

This program will be capped at 20 participants.
